Misc. Notes
I've been given some details about Ann Logie (1832) from Colin McKendrick's research.
Ann Logie worked at Brownmuir Farm, Kinclaven from a very early age as a farm servant (not domestic). She had an illegitimate son named Alexander in 1856 to a railway worker called George Cushnie. She married her cousin James McKendrick in 1861 and Alexander appears to have been adopted by the McKendricks. Ann died on 6th August 1913 in Prieston Road, Bankfort, Auchtergaven. Young Alexander married Elizabeth Margaret Douglas in 1882.
The above is from Colin's notes. I hope this all tallies with your research.
