We regret to report the death of Mrs.
Mary Kelly at her home, 77 Buckleystreet,
Essendon, on Friday, August 13.
Mrs. Kelly was the mother of Rev. J.
Celsus Kelly, O.F.M., of Waverley,
N.S.W., editor of the "Crusader," and
she was the second daughter of Patrick
and Honora Baragry, of Oola Park,
Magar Plains, near Dookie, where
she was born seventy-one years
ago. Mrs. Kelly had been a member
of the Third Order of St.
Francis and the Sacred Heart Sodality.
She is survived by her husband, Mr.
John E. Kelly, four sons and three
daughters. Mass was celebrated
at St. Monica's, Essendon, by Rev. J.
O'Neill, and later by her son, Rev. Celsus
Kelly, O.F.M. In the sanctuary
were Rev. W. Power, P.P., Very Rev.
D. Nolan, Commissary-Provincial,
O.F.M.; Rev. S. McNamara, O.F.M.;
Rev. M. McAuliffe, O.F.M.; Rev. M.
Malone, O.F.M.; and Rev. B. Quirk,
